    About the team


    The CTS Professional Services team works with our customers to build and deploy solutions that create engaging video experiences with our “Video Platform” product. The core product is built by CTS in Seattle, and we are responsible for getting it delivered to our UK, Europe, and APAC clients. We work with many types and styles of integrations as we work with our customers to integrate with their unique workflows and solve their business problems.


    We are a multi-disciplinary team with 10-15 engineers working across our vast platform on multiple projects. We value transparency, accountability, shared responsibility and teamwork. We’re focused on our customers, and CTS's mission is to provide innovative, premium video solutions to global broadcasters, content providers and operators.


    Most engineers work across the entire stack, although many have expertise with particular technologies and domains. We deploy to production often and have full ownership of releases, and the tools we use.


    As an organisation, data is critical to us, and we strive to be data-driven in all aspects of our work, from both a technical and commercial perspective.




    What you’ll work on


    • Contribute to the design and implementation of components and solutions for customer-specific consulting services agreements. You will work in collaboration with Solution Architects, Project Management, and globally distributed engineering teams.
    • Design-review solutions to ensure best practices, avoid performance bottlenecks and identify improvements to our workflows.
    • Refining toolsets and contributing to improvements to process and delivery frameworks.
    • Assist in unit testing, performance testing, on-site installations, and application configuration.
    • Integrating and ingesting large data sets from our customers into our core products.
    • Many types of integrations and bespoke needs, for clients to connect, migrate, and export data and meta-data between systems.
    • Taking a client facing approach, participating in client workshops across the lifecycle of a customer engagement.
    • Working with globally distributed support teams to resolve production issues (3rd line support)
    • Develop robust ingest scripts to translate customer-specific metadata into our core objects.
    • Develop utility scripts to accomplish customer-specific requirements.
    • Create, maintain, and document customer implementations.
